SIA License in Door Supervisors Training and Security Guarding Courses based in Essex, UK
Personal Safety Factors Ltd (PSF), based in Essex, UK, has been providing Door Supervisors Training to SIA License standards for the last 3 years with an excellent pass rate. We also train people selling Alcohol to obtain their Personal Licence. This BIIAB approved course leads to the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH) and our trainees have had a really good first time pass ratio. In addition to the Door Supervisor (NCDS) and Personal Licence Holder (NCPLH) qualifications we train people who need to be qualified First Aiders either to First Aid at Work or First Aid Approved Person standards under the HSE approval.
Our trainers have many years of experience both as trainers and gaining practical experience “on the street” and are able to fine-tune the security guarding, licencees and first aider courses to meet your particular needs. We evaluate our trainers regularly as does our governing body the BIIAB so that you can be confident that you are purchasing a quality service.
In addition to the basic Unit 1 and Unit 2 of the National Certificate for Door Supervisors Training course we can offer a variety of related security guarding courses (see courses offered) and in addition we offer bespoke courses to employers tailored precisely to their individual needs.
We are able to offer training centres in various locations in Essex, UK and, where an employer needs a group trained and has suitable premises we can often arrange the SIA License training “on site”.
We understand that many of our trainees are employed during the normal working day and find it difficult or costly to attend Door Supervisors Training courses at those times. To assist them we hold many of our security guarding courses either at weekends or in the evenings which allows them to train and pass their examinations without taking time off work.

We have a Helpline for our students to obtain support during and after training and undertake to contact them after the course to ensure that they have no ongoing issues.
Accredited Examinations
We are accredited to deliver the NEW! National Certificate for Door Supervisors Training (NCDS National Level 2) (in support of the SIA License to Practice) This is the qualification that has been developed to service the needs of the industry now and into the future.
We are also accredited to deliver the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH National Level 2) course and the Nationally Recognised HSE Approved First Aid at Work courses together with a variety of others.
Our courses genuinely prepare our candidates for the reality of the operational demands placed upon door supervisors and the entertainment industry oday. Our trainees come away feeling confident and very well informed.
Our courses provide knowledge and skills over and above the basic needs of the qualification. Whilst we want to get our candidates through their exams, we are also mindful of the fact that they can benefit from some extra knowledge and skills that an organisation such as ours can offer.
