The SIA Licence - What you should know.....

• Don't leave it until the last moment to make a decision on your future in the industry. If you are going to stay in it, then find out what training you need to undertake so as to be able to apply for your SIA licence

• Book your training as soon as you can. Go to a training company approved by a national awarding body (such as the BIIAB).

• We do not recommend using the SIA web site to order your application pack – this method has not been that efficient a way of getting the pack

• Phone the SIA (08702 430 100) to ask for an application pack. This can take a couple of weeks and sometimes more than one attempt, so don't leave it too long. This can be done while you are organising your training
